Obsidian Legal Consulting Ltd provides consultancy and locum legal services on a professional‑services basis. As such, refunds are handled differently from product‑based businesses and are assessed in line with the nature of the work carried out.

Consultancy and Legal Services
Fees for consultancy or locum work are charged for time spent, expertise provided, and work completed. Because these services involve professional time and advice, refunds are not generally offered once work has begun.

Deposits and Retainers
Where a deposit or retainer is agreed, it is used to secure availability and cover initial work. Deposits are non‑refundable unless otherwise stated in the written engagement agreement.

If you need to cancel a scheduled consultancy session or engagement, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation terms will be set out in your individual agreement.

Errors or Duplicate Payments
If a payment has been made by mistake or processed twice, we will investigate and arrange a correction or refund where appropriate.
